Mixed-Up Story: A woman (possibly) stole something.

A woman (possibly) stole something.
She got in her car because she wanted to get out of the city.
She was driving fast because she didn’t want the police to catch her.
She called someone on her cell and began talking.
Two men began to cross the street even though (虽然,aunque, несмотря́ на то, что, مع أن، دون أن ) the sign said DON’T WALK.

Suddenly, she saw two people in the street.
She tried to stop, but she couldn’t.
She ran into one of the pedestrians.
A pedestrian's head got hurt and he started bleeding.
Someone called an ambulance.
The paramedics treated (=gave medical attention to) his head wound. 創傷,una herida, ра́на, جُرح
The police came and questioned the driver.
