Aux-words:
the verb BE: am is are was were
modal auxiliaries: can could would should may might must will shall  
have/has + past participle or -ing

How do I make negative sentences?
If there is an aux-word, put not (or n't) after it.  He is superstitious. → He isn't superstitious.
If there isn't an aux-word, insert do/does/did + n't before the verb. Change the verb to base form.
     He believes in "lucky" houses. → He doesn't believe in "lucky" houses.
